How to get Switch Roms for Yuzu or Ryujinx
There is two ways to get ROMS for the Nintendo Switch. You can either rip them from the game itself through software on a hacked Switch or find a legit place to download your rom. Remember the guidelines to ROMs and how there illegal to obtain more then 24 hours. With that said we now proceed on how to download switch ROMS.
Where do you find safe ROMS?
The correction answer is no where. There is no safe place, because most switch rom places contain viruses. However, after days of searching we found a legit place to get them. Of course there is a catch and its a pain to get them to download, but the results are great. You can get them from this website here. Egg NS or Nintendo switch roms. We prefer Nintendoswitchroms.net more. They have a search bar that lets you look for the games directly. Egg NS website makes you click on each page to find your game. However, Nintendoswitchroms.net doesn’t have as many roms as the other website. Once you go find your Switch ROM, you will need to go through a series of webpages to get it to work. This is a protection method from Nintendo.
How to get the ROM to download from those sites mentioned?
You will be sent to a page that has a loading bar. You must stay there for 15 seconds. Once you do this, a verify button will show. Click the Verify button and then scroll to the bottom. Click on continue. It will reload the page and go through the same process for round 2. Once you click continue again it will take you to the page that provides the download Rom. There is 3 different ROM downloads they use. 1fichier is the only one that can be a pain as it makes you wait 1 hour to download the next one. You can use the 2nd mirror that takes you to the other type of download host. They are much better but you can only download 1 at a time.
Which ROM Type XCI or NSP?
XCI is basically the dumped ROM file. You find these type of files to have updates already added. They can make you only download rom at a time which can be better. Sometimes they don’t work as good as NSP. NSP rom files are Digital downloads from the eShop. They will always need an update in order to work correctly. On the website mentioned you will find the update DLC or update files as a separate download.
