Aliens Fireteam Elite Review from a gamer that has been playing video games for 30 years. Is it worth playing? All video games are worth playing the correct question is it worth the money. i purchase two digital copies of this game for it to come out on game pass months later.
When it comes to writing a review I like to give my personal opinion and not base it on what others say. I don’t need a streamer to tell me if the game is good or not, I rather play it first hand. If your an aliens fan like me, you will like it regardless. Even aliens colonial marines was good, but plagued with issues with AI. The wrong code gone wrong. This game is fun with friends, and not so fun without. You can play online with others, but friends are much better.

The graphics are not the latest, but its still runs pretty good considering you have 100’s of xeno’s constantly charging you. FPS can lag in certain areas of the game when there is to much AI. Reported on older systems, such as the X box one, S and X. Not the X series. I’m sure they run the game respectfully good. I’d give the graphics 6 out of 10.
Controls 9/10
The controls are easy to understand and make the game easy to control. If you compare a game to this one, its like gears of war controls, but its a bit clucky when attaching to a wall for cover. The abilities and shooting your target is quite easy.
Story 7/10
Story is a rush rush type story and it’s linear. You get in and find yourself surrounded by tons of xenomorphs at ever moment and the story gets deeper into corruption and explains how private companies do what they want. You will find new xenomorphs to fight and each type has its own way of killing you.
Overall Gameplay – Replay able 8/10
The game is quite fun when you get into it. You only can have an fireteam of 3 people. The game gets harder as you get into each mission. You have 5 total classes you can be. They just added one last patch called a phalanx, which is a tank. It was needed as you get into the harder modes. You can unlock new guns, mods and more for your class. Each mod is helpful and needed to increase your damage and help you survive longer.
The mods are unlocked as you level your class. Each class has there own way of helping your fireteam out. The question is when you beat this game does it have a replay value? If you like harder modes and playing horde mode then yes, there is. Nothing compared to most gaming content, but it will keep you and your friends satisfied for a few months. The weapons can be modded and obtainable by purchasing them through the market. Although some weapons are define by class and not every class can use them.

The game has a fun way of bringing back some fun memories of playing Aliens vs predator but as the human killing huge wave of bugs. The story was straight to the point, but its okay, worth my $40.00 to play with my friends and my family. Should you buy this? If you like horde modes and fighting tons of zombies/Xenos then yes this is worth it. Here is two videos from some recent gameplay with me, my wife and kid. It was a fun time, sometimes we have to do the mission over because we were not strong enough yet. Its got some good hard modes in this game.
