8 Tips for Newbies Elden Ring NightReign

As an enthusiastic player of the Dark Souls games and Elden Ring, I can tell you that this game has a notable learning curve. I mostly play with random players, so it’s entertaining to see how each game plays out. Here are my 8 Tips for Newbies Elden Ring NightReign.

  1. Upgrade Your Flask!!!

Around the map, you will come across churches. Upgrade those flasks to have a better lifeline during the night bosses. I’m always in games with randoms who never go for the flask upgrades. During the night against the boss and last night lord boss, you don’t get your flask back once you use it. This means you have to survive the entire time without being hit.

  1. USE ITEMS

Pick up those items and use them; don’t hoard them. When you reach the night boss, you need to collect items that enhance damage, add elements to your weapons, and use warming stones. It is a game changer when it comes to defeating bosses. You can also equip relics that increase the damage of thrown items and element coatings.

  1. Choose a Character You Enjoy!

You can stack characters in multiplayer. Three Iron sights or three raiders, it doesn’t matter. Play according to your lifestyle. I usually play as an Iron Sight and Duches. Quick gameplay makes it easier to assist downed teammates.

  1. Watch for Fire/Storm!

I’ve encountered randoms countless times who engage bosses right when the firestorm is approaching. How reckless people can be to do this! Learning to ping helps alert your teammates about the impending storm.

  1. Avoid Fights with Bosses at Low Levels

There is a list of bosses you should avoid at low levels. Dragons are a definite no-go. Even if you level up, dragons remain a significant challenge. The higher your level, the more damage resistance you gain from attacks. Time and again, I’ve seen people perish against bosses they cannot handle at lower levels.

  1. Collect Trinkets from Ball Creatures that Glow

You will find these all over the map. Defeat them and obtain the items. They can possess good stats or add elements to your weapon. Make sure to share with your team, as some items may benefit your teammates more than yourself.

  1. Equip Pre-game Relics

Relics are useful and can be purchased or earned at the end of each round you complete. Depending on your character, select the appropriate relic that aligns with your playstyle and attributes. I possess a relic that heals teammates after each enemy defeated. Additionally, I have a relic that heals me every time I strike with a dagger.

  1. Don’t Rush Off Without Your Team

Sometimes I find myself doing this, but only when they’re not pursuing an upgraded flask. However, working as a team is significantly easier when tackling large enemies and mini-bosses.

Thank you for reading this post, even though these tips seem like common sense. You will see why I posted these if you ever play Elden Ring NightReign. It’s not an easy game, and it’s very challenging for the average gamer.

Here is a video of 1 failed mission and one we won. Thank you to the other players in the game who helped me finally beat this boss. However, now theres many more hahah.

Video will be posted here when it is uploaded.

Plays video games religiously and reviews games. I don't get paid for reviews and will tell you straight up if its a cash grab or a game worth it for gamers.
