Congratulations, you’ve made it to the final dungeon, Ganon’s Tower. This is a combination of everything you’ve learned so far. You’ll revisit old enemies and puzzle types, but with a significant increase in difficulty.

Before You Begin

Location: Ganon’s Tower is located on Death Mountain in the Dark World, in the same spot where the Tower of Hera was in the Light World.

Accessing the Tower: After you’ve collected all seven crystals from the dungeons, the seven maidens will use their combined power to break the barrier protecting Ganon’s Tower.

Required Items: You will need a full arsenal, but here are the most critical items for this dungeon:

Master Sword: (and hopefully the Tempered or Golden Sword)

Bow & Arrows: Essential for many puzzles and enemies.

Bombs

Hookshot

Hammer

Fire Rod

Cane of Somaria

Magic Cape or Cane of Byrna

Magic Powder

Big Key: Found in this dungeon.

Dungeon Walkthrough

Ganon’s Tower is a difficult, multi-floor dungeon filled with puzzles and enemies from the previous dungeons.

Revisiting Old Friends (and Foes): The dungeon is a “greatest hits” of the game’s challenges. You’ll encounter:

Hardhat Beetles: That you’ll need to hit into pits with your sword.

Wizzrobes: Who will teleport and shoot fireballs at you.

Wallmasters: Be careful, they’ll drop from the ceiling and send you back to the beginning of the dungeon.

Conveyor Belts & Crystal Switches: You’ll need to use bombs and your sword to solve puzzles involving these.

The Red Mail: The ultimate armor upgrade, the Red Mail, is located in a Big Chest in this dungeon. The Red Mail reduces damage to one-fourth of the original amount, making you incredibly durable for the final fights.

Navigating the Floors:

1F: The first floor is a maze of crystal switches, conveyor belts, and enemies. You’ll need to use bombs to hit switches and your Hookshot to cross pits.

2F: Here, you’ll encounter a room with an invisible pathway over a pit. Use your Fire Rod to light the torches and reveal the path temporarily. Be quick and follow the path to the end. The Cane of Somaria is also useful for creating temporary blocks to cross gaps.

B1: You’ll drop down to a basement floor where you must face a final battle with the Armos Knights, the boss from the Eastern Palace. However, this time the floor is slippery with ice, adding a new challenge.

The Big Key: The Big Key is located on the B1 floor after you defeat the Armos Knights. It’s essential to open the door to the upper floors and the final boss.

Final Boss Battle: Agahnim (Round 2)

Before you can face Ganon, you must defeat his alter ego, Agahnim, for a second time. This battle takes place at the top of Ganon’s Tower.

The Battle: Agahnim will be joined by two clones. All three will teleport around the room and cast magic.

Strategy:

Hit the real Agahnim with your sword. You can tell which one is real because the others are transparent.

Agahnim will also fire a fireball at you. You can hit this with your sword to send it back at him, which is the primary way to damage him.

His clones will fire smaller, less damaging projectiles. You can also send these back, but they don’t do as much damage.

After enough hits, the real Agahnim will disappear, and you will fall through a hole in the floor to face Ganon.

The True Final Boss: Ganon

After you defeat Agahnim, you’ll be transported to the Pyramid of Power for the final confrontation with Ganon.

Phase 1: Ganon’s Teleporting: Ganon will teleport around the room and attack with a trident. He will also throw boomerangs that create a wall of fire.

Strategy:

Hit him with your sword when he reappears. You can also use the Master Sword for this.

Dodge his fire boomerang and be careful not to get trapped by the fire walls.

Phase 2: The Darkness: After taking enough damage, Ganon will turn the room dark. He will become invisible except for a small, flickering shadow.

Strategy:

Light the two torches in the room with your Fire Rod.

Once the torches are lit, Ganon will become visible for a short time. He will stop and do a spinning attack. This is your chance to stun him with a sword attack.

After you hit him, he will freeze and turn blue. This is your moment. Use a Silver Arrow to hit him.

Repeat this process: light the torches, hit him with your sword to stun him, then hit him with a Silver Arrow.

After a few hits with the Silver Arrows, Ganon will be defeated, and you can finally claim the Triforce. Congratulations, you have beaten The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past!

The next dungeon after Misery Mire is Turtle Rock. This is the final dungeon before you can enter Ganon’s Tower. It’s located on Death Mountain and is known for its challenging puzzles, including using the Cane of Somaria to create platforms and a tricky portal system.

Before You Begin

Location: The entrance to Turtle Rock is on the eastern part of Death Mountain in the Dark World.

Required Items:

Quake Medallion: This is essential to open the dungeon’s entrance. To get it, go to the island in the middle of the Swamp of Evil (the Misery Mire area in the Dark World). Stand on the symbol and use the Quake Medallion to make the door rise.

Cane of Somaria: You just got this from Misery Mire, and it’s essential for navigating this dungeon’s puzzles.

Fire Rod and Ice Rod: These are needed for a crucial puzzle and for the boss fight. The Fire Rod is from Skull Woods. The Ice Rod is an optional item, found in a cave east of Lake Hylia in the Light World.

Accessing the Dungeon

Get to Death Mountain: Use your Flute to warp to Death Mountain.

Find the Warp Tile: Go to the eastern side of Death Mountain in the Light World. You’ll find a series of three stakes on a high ledge. Use the Hammer to pound them down in a specific order: right, up, left. This will reveal a warp tile.

Enter the Dark World: Step on the warp tile to be taken to the Dark World on a high ledge above the dungeon.

Open the Dungeon: You’ll see a symbol on the ground in front of the dungeon’s entrance. Stand on the symbol and use the Quake Medallion. The entrance to Turtle Rock will then appear.

Dungeon Walkthrough

Turtle Rock is a puzzle-heavy dungeon with a focus on using your new Cane of Somaria. You’ll also encounter a series of frustrating laser traps and enemies that are resistant to normal attacks.

Navigating with the Cane of Somaria: A main feature of this dungeon is a series of platforms that travel along a dotted track. You must use the Cane of Somaria on the ‘?’ symbol to create a block that becomes your platform. You can then ride it across pits to new areas.

The Big Key: The Big Key is located in a room with a large, rotating laser statue. You must hit the crystal switch to change the path of the lasers and then use your Cane of Somaria to create a platform that carries you to the chest.

The Torch Puzzle: In a room with four torches, you’ll need to use your Cane of Somaria to create a platform that travels over a chasm. While on the platform, you must quickly use your Fire Rod to light all four torches before the platform reaches the end of the track. This is a timed puzzle, and you’ll need to be fast. The door to the next room will open only when all four are lit simultaneously.

Boss Battle: Trinexx

The boss of Turtle Rock is Trinexx, a three-headed creature of fire, ice, and stone.

Phase 1: Fire and Ice Heads: Trinexx’s two outer heads are vulnerable to opposite elements.

The Red Head (Fire) must be attacked with the Ice Rod.

The Blue Head (Ice) must be attacked with the Fire Rod.

Strategy:

Use the appropriate elemental rod to hit each head. After a few hits, the heads will freeze or turn to stone.

Once a head is stunned, hit it with your sword to deal damage.

Beware of their attacks. The red head shoots fireballs and creates fire trails, while the blue head shoots ice and creates slippery ice on the floor.

Phase 2: The Stone Head: After you defeat both the fire and ice heads, the stone head in the middle will become a snake-like creature that moves around the room.

Strategy:

The snake’s weak point is the glowing sphere on its body.

Hit the glowing sphere with your sword. You may have to be quick to hit it as it moves.

Continue attacking the glowing sphere until Trinexx is defeated.

After defeating Trinexx, you’ll receive the final crystal. All seven maidens are now free, and you can now head to the final dungeon: Ganon’s Tower.

Misery Mire, This dungeon is located in the Dark World’s version of the Desert of Mystery, and it’s a dungeon that will require you to think vertically.

Before You Begin

Location: The entrance to Misery Mire is in the Dark World, in the Swamp of Evil. This is the Dark World’s version of the Desert of Mystery.

Required Items:

Ether Medallion: This is the most crucial item to even get into the dungeon. To get it, you need to go to the floating island west of the Tower of Hera on Death Mountain in the Light World. Use your Book of Mudora to read the stone tablet there, and you will receive the medallion.

Titan’s Mitt: This is required to lift a black stone to reveal the warp tile that takes you to the Swamp of Evil.

Flute: Use this to quick travel to the desert location.

Accessing the Dungeon

Use the Flute to fly to point #6, which is in the Desert of Mystery in the Light World.

Once there, go to the southeast corner of the desert area. You’ll find a black stone. Use your Titan’s Mitt to lift it and reveal a warp tile.

Step on the warp tile, and you will be transported to the Swamp of Evil in the Dark World.

You’ll notice a constant rainstorm in this area. To stop the storm and reveal the dungeon’s entrance, you need to stand on a specific symbol. This symbol looks like the Ether Medallion.

Stand on the symbol in front of the large stone building and use the Ether Medallion. The storm will stop, and the door to Misery Mire will rise out of the swamp.

Dungeon Walkthrough

Misery Mire is a multi-level dungeon with many rooms that require you to move back and forth to progress. It’s filled with enemies like Wizzrobes and Beamos, which can be tough.

Finding Keys and the Big Key: This dungeon has several small keys and a tricky path to the Big Key. You’ll need to use your Hookshot to cross gaps, and your Bombs to uncover hidden passages. There’s a section with four torches that you must light to make a wall move. This is a common puzzle, and the Lamp or Fire Rod will work for this.

The Cane of Somaria: The main item in this dungeon is the Cane of Somaria. This cane allows you to create a temporary block that you can use to hold down switches or as a platform. It’s in the Big Chest, which is located after a section with crumbling floors. Be quick and use your Hookshot to get across.

Navigating the Levels: The dungeon has many staircases and teleport tiles. You’ll need to use them to get to different floors and solve puzzles. Be mindful of the Wizzrobes, as their magic attacks can be devastating if you don’t have the Blue Mail from the Ice Palace.

Boss Battle: Vitreous

The boss of Misery Mire is Vitreous, a giant eye with many smaller eyeballs that it summons.

Phase 1: Dealing with the Eyeballs: Vitreous is a large eye surrounded by a ring of smaller eyeballs. The smaller eyeballs will detach from the main body and fly toward you.

Strategy:

Use your sword to slash at the eyeballs as they come near. They are a one-hit kill with the Master Sword, but they are a constant threat.

Stay in the bottom right corner of the room to avoid most of the lightning attacks Vitreous will unleash as you destroy the smaller eyes.

Once you’ve defeated enough of the small eyeballs, the main eye, Vitreous, will start to move around and become vulnerable.

Phase 2: Attacking Vitreous:

Once Vitreous starts moving, it will move erratically around the room. It’s vulnerable to your sword and arrows.

Use your sword to continuously slash at it. You can also use the Bow with arrows for a more distant attack.

After you’ve defeated Vitreous, you will receive the sixth crystal and be one step closer to Ganon’s Tower. The Cane of Somaria is also a very useful item for the next dungeon.

The Ice Palace is the next dungeon i’ll be covering for The Legend of zelda link to the past. This dungeon is known for its tricky puzzles, slippery floors, and for requiring the Fire Rod you just acquired.

Before You Begin

Location: The Ice Palace is located in the middle of the Dark World’s version of Lake Hylia.

Accessing the Dungeon: To get there, you’ll need to use your Magic Mirror. Go to Lake Hylia in the Light World. Swim to the small island in the center of the lake. There is a single black rock on this island; use your Titan’s Mitt (found in Thieves’ Town) to lift it. Underneath is a warp tile. Use it to enter the Dark World, and you will be on a platform right in front of the Ice Palace entrance.

Required Items:

Fire Rod: This is essential for both puzzles and defeating the boss. Make sure you have enough magic power or some potions to replenish it.

Hookshot: Useful for crossing gaps and stopping your momentum on the slippery ice.

Bombs: You’ll need these to open a path to a lower floor.

Dungeon Walkthrough

The Ice Palace is a multi-level dungeon, with floors that have slippery ice and enemies that are hard to kill without the right tools.

Entering the Dungeon: Upon entering, you’ll be faced with a sealed door. A telepathic message will hint that you need to use the power of fire. Use your Fire Rod to melt the ice on the wall to the left, and an ice enemy will appear. Defeat it with your Fire Rod, and the door will unseal.

Finding Keys and the Big Key: The dungeon requires you to use your Fire Rod to melt ice blocks and your Bombs to open up new paths. You’ll also encounter Stalfos Knights, which can only be defeated by hitting them with your sword until they crumble and then blowing them up with a Bomb. One of the small keys is obtained this way. The Big Key is in a chest that appears after you defeat all enemies in a specific room.

Navigating the Levels: As you descend, the puzzles get more complex. You’ll need to manipulate crystal switches and drop through holes in the floor (which are created by bombing cracked sections of the ice). Be careful on the slippery floors, as they can lead you into spikes or other dangers.

Obtaining the Blue Mail: The main item in this dungeon is the Blue Mail, which is in the Big Chest. The Blue Mail reduces the damage you take from enemies by half, which is incredibly useful for the rest of the game.

Boss Battle: Kholdstare

The boss of the Ice Palace is Kholdstare, a large eye encased in a block of ice.

Phase 1: Breaking the Ice: Kholdstare starts as a giant eye trapped inside a thick block of ice. To break the ice, you must repeatedly hit it with your Fire Rod. Another option is to use the Bombos Medallion which will destroy the ice in a single hit, but this consumes a lot of magic.

Phase 2: Attacking the Eyes: Once the ice is broken, Kholdstare will split into three bouncing eyeballs. The eyeballs will bounce around the room, and ice shards will fall from the ceiling.

Strategy:

The eyeballs are vulnerable to all of your attacks, but the Fire Rod is still a great way to deal damage quickly.

You can use your sword to attack the eyes as they bounce around, but this can be challenging to do while avoiding their contact.

The Cane of Byrna or Magic Cape can be very useful for this fight to avoid taking damage from the bouncing eyes and falling ice shards.

Focus on one eye at a time until it’s defeated.

After you’ve destroyed all three eyeballs, Kholdstare is defeated, and you’ll receive the crystal from this dungeon. With the Blue Mail in your possession, you are now much better equipped to face the challenges ahead.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, the Skull Woods, located in the Dark World’s version of the Lost Woods. This dungeon is unique because it’s spread across the overworld and the underground.

Before You Begin

Location: You must first enter the Dark World. After defeating Agahnim in Hyrule Castle, you’ll be transported to the Pyramid of Power in the center of the Dark World.

Finding the Skull Woods: To get to Skull Woods, go to the Lost Woods in the Light World. Enter the westernmost entrance, then go south through the trees until you find a circle of stakes. Use the Hammer to pound them down, revealing a warp tile. Use the warp tile to enter the Dark World. You will now be in the Skeleton Forest, which is the Skull Woods dungeon.

Dungeon Walkthrough

Skull Woods is non-linear, with multiple entrances and exits. You’ll be moving between the overworld and the dungeon’s underground sections to progress.

Finding the Map and Compass: Your first goal is to find the dungeon’s Map and Compass. Look for a hole in the ground in the eastern part of the forest (look for a cluster of flowers). Falling into this hole will land you in a room with enemies and a chest containing the Compass. Opening the chest will change the layout of the room, so be careful. Navigate the rooms to find a chest with the Map.

Getting the Fire Rod: The main item in this dungeon is the Fire Rod. To get it, you must find a way to access the overworld section of the dungeon where the Big Chest is. You’ll need to drop into a specific hole and use a switch to open the way. This involves going in and out of the dungeon to reach new areas.

Navigating the Overworld: You’ll be using different skull entrances and holes in the ground to travel between dungeon rooms. Be on the lookout for a room with a large, cracked wall that you can blow up with a Bomb to create a shortcut. You’ll also encounter Wallmasters—hands that fall from the ceiling. If they grab you, they will take you back to the dungeon entrance, which can be frustrating.

Finding the Big Key: The Big Key is located in a room in the underground section. You’ll have to use your Hookshot to cross pits and solve a puzzle involving a switch and statues. You must push a statue onto the switch to open the northern door.

Boss Battle: Mothula

Mothula is the boss of Skull Woods. This fight takes place in a room with a moving spiked floor.

The Strategy: Mothula is a large, moth-like creature that flies around the room. The only way to damage it is by hitting it with your sword. The Fire Rod (which you just found) is also extremely effective against it.

Attacks: Mothula will fly around the room, and sometimes bounce off the walls to hit you. It will also shoot projectiles at you. The main challenge of this fight is the moving spiked walls that are constantly closing in on you.

Tips:

Use the Fire Rod to attack Mothula from a distance, as it deals significant damage.

Be mindful of the moving spiked walls. Keep an eye on where they are and avoid getting crushed.

You can also use your sword. A spin attack is a good option if you can get close enough without taking damage.

If you get hit, there are pots around the room that may contain hearts.

After defeating Mothula, you’ll receive the third crystal and are one step closer to your final confrontation with Agahnim.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Tower of Hera, located on the summit of Death Mountain. This guide will walk you through how to navigate the dungeon, find the necessary items, and defeat the boss.

Before You Begin

Location: The Tower of Hera is on top of Death Mountain. To get there, you’ll first need the Power Glove from the Desert Palace.

Accessing Death Mountain: Use the Power Glove to lift the large green stone blocking a cave entrance west of the Sanctuary. Traverse the cave, helping the Lost Old Man, who will give you the Magic Mirror. The mirror is essential for reaching the dungeon.

Reaching the Tower: Once on Death Mountain, head to the area with Spectacle Rock (the large rock that looks like glasses) and a warp tile. Use the Magic Mirror on the warp tile to return to the Light World on top of Spectacle Rock. From there, you can jump down to the Tower of Hera.

Dungeon Walkthrough

The Tower of Hera is all about navigating different floors, often by manipulating blocks and switches. Be careful, as many rooms have holes that will drop you down to a lower floor.

Entering the Dungeon: Upon entering, you’ll be surrounded by blue blocks. Hit the Crystal Switch with your sword to lower the blue blocks and raise the orange ones. Take the western stairs down to 1F.

Finding the Small Key: In the next room, defeat the enemies and grab the small key from the chest. Use a spin attack to easily take out the Stalfos.

Getting the Big Key: Return to the main room (2F) and hit the crystal switch again to lower the orange blocks. Walk north and navigate the room, fighting off enemies. You’ll find a room with four torches. Light all four with your Lamp to make a chest appear, containing the Big Key.

The Compass: In a room with several enemies and pots, you can find the Compass in a chest in the center of the room.

Getting to the Top Floor: As you ascend the tower, you will encounter rooms with enemies and Star Switches. Star Switches change the layout of holes on the floor. Carefully navigate around the holes, using your sword to fight off enemies like the Hardhat Beetles (which will push you back).

Finding the Moon Pearl: The main item of this dungeon is the Moon Pearl. This item is crucial because it allows you to retain your Hylian form in the Dark World. You will get the Moon Pearl after defeating the dungeon’s boss.

Boss Battle: Moldorm

The boss of the Tower of Hera is Moldorm. This fight takes place on a platform high above the ground, and falling off means you have to start the fight over.

The Strategy: Moldorm is a large worm-like creature. The only way to damage it is to hit its tail.

Attacks: Moldorm will move erratically, trying to knock you off the platform.

Tips:

Be patient and wait for an opening to strike the tail.

Use a spin attack when its tail is in range for a quick hit.

Avoid the center of the platform. Falling into the central pit will send you all the way back to the dungeon entrance. If you fall off the sides, you’ll only drop down one floor.

Moldorm gets faster as you hit it, so be prepared for a more difficult challenge as its health gets lower.

Once you defeat Moldorm, it will drop the Moon Pearl, and you will also receive the Pendant of Power. With the Moon Pearl in your possession, you are now ready to continue your quest to find the Master Sword.

Eastern Palace Walkthrough (A Link to the Past)

The Eastern Palace is the first proper dungeon you’ll tackle after the initial Hyrule Castle sequence. It introduces you to many core Zelda mechanics.

Required Items Before Entering:

Sword and Shield: You’ll have these from the start.

Boomerang: Obtained in Hyrule Castle. Useful for stunning enemies.

Bombs (Optional but Recommended): While not strictly required for progression, having a few on hand can reveal secret rupee stashes or save you time if you bomb a wall instead of finding a switch.

Magic Powder (Optional): If you’ve brought the mushroom from the Lost Woods to the Witch’s Hut, she’ll give you Magic Powder. It can turn Anti-Fairies into regular fairies for health, but it’s not crucial for this dungeon.

1. Entrance and Initial Rooms

Entrance Room: You’ll start in a room with three doors.

The two doors on the left and right are currently locked or lead to dead ends from this side.

Go through the middle door directly ahead.

Popo Switch Room: You’ll find a single pot directly in front of the locked door.

Lift the pot (A button) to reveal a floor switch.

Step on the switch to open the door to the north.

Proceed through the now open door.

“Ball” Gauntlet Room: This room features a long, narrow path with large, rolling iron globes.

Strategy: Stay in the small alcoves on the sides of the path to avoid the rolling balls. Wait for a ball to pass, then quickly move to the next alcove or forward.

At the very end of this path, do NOT go up the stairs immediately. Instead, walk west (left), then curve south (down) to find another set of stairs leading to an upper ledge.

Take these stairs up. Walk east (right) along the upper ledge to find a treasure chest.

Open the chest to get a Green Rupee (worth 100 Rupees!).

Go through the door to the east (right).

2. Navigating the West Side & Getting Small Key #1

Stalfos Hub Room (Upper West): You’ll enter a room with two Stalfos (skeletons) and two paths: one north and one south.

Go north first.

Popo Pot Room: In this room, you’ll find five pots.

Lift the middle pot to reveal a floor switch.

Step on the switch to open the door to the south (which is where you just came from). This is important for later navigation.

Now, ignore that south door for a moment and proceed through the east door (if you didn’t press the switch, this door would be closed).

Dark Anti-Fairy Room: This room is dark and contains several Anti-Fairies (black sprites that hurt you).

Quickly move east (right) along the narrow path, then curve south (down).

You’ll find a single Popo. Defeat it.

Step on the floor switch near the Popo.

Go through the now open east door (right).

Stalfos Key Room: This room is also dark and contains three Blue Stalfos.

Strategy: The easiest way to defeat these Stalfos is to lift and throw the pots at them. Two hits per Stalfos will defeat them.

After defeating them, lift the pot that was against the east wall (right side).

Underneath, you’ll find Small Key #1.

Go through the north door.

Telepathy Tile Room: You’ll find a Telepathy Tile here (read it if you wish for a hint from Sahasrahla).

Go through the east door to return to the main Stalfos Hub Room (where you first entered this upper west section).

3. Obtaining the Big Key

Central Hub Room (Lower East): From the Stalfos Hub Room, go through the south door. You’ll be back in the “Ball” Gauntlet room, but on a lower level.

Walk east (right) and then north (up) to find stairs going down to a new section. Take them.

Block Puzzle Room: You’ll enter a room with a large, movable block in the center.

Push the block forward (north), then right (east). This will clear a path for you.

Go through the north door.

Popo & Ball Room: This room has more Popos and a rolling ball.

Defeat the Popos.

Go through the north door.

Armos Knight Room: You’ll find a single Armos Knight (the statues that come alive) in this room.

Strategy: Hit the Armos Knight with your sword until it’s defeated. It might take a few hits.

Once defeated, a floor switch will appear.

Step on the switch to open the door to the east. Go through it.

Big Key Room: You’ve found it! This room has a large treasure chest.

Open the large chest to receive the BIG KEY!

Go through the south door to return to the Armos Knight room.

Now, backtrack by going west (left) from the Armos Knight room, then south (down) from the Popo & Ball room, then south (down) from the Block Puzzle room. This brings you back to the Eastern Palace’s central lower area.

4. Getting the Bow & Arrow

Bow Room: From the central lower area (where you first found the stairs leading down to the block puzzle), walk south (down) and then east (right) to find another set of stairs leading up. Take them.

You’ll enter a room with several Popos and a large treasure chest.

Defeat the Popos.

Open the large chest (which requires the Big Key you just found) to claim your prize: the BOW and ARROW!

5. The Boss: Armos Knights

Path to the Boss: From the room where you just got the Bow, go through the large, locked door to the north. This door can only be opened with the Big Key.

Boss Arena: You’ll enter the boss chamber.

Boss: Armos Knights

Phase 1: Six Armos Knights will be scattered around the room.

Strategy: Each Armos Knight requires three arrows to be defeated. As you hit them, they will awaken and start hopping around. Focus on one at a time, keeping your distance. Stay near the edges of the room and move in a circular pattern to avoid their hops.

Phase 2: After defeating five of the Armos Knights, the last remaining one will turn red and become much more aggressive, jumping higher and trying to land directly on you.

Strategy: Continue to shoot it with arrows. It’s often easiest to hit it just as it’s landing or when it pauses briefly. Keep moving and use quick shots. Don’t be afraid to use your sword if it gets too close, but arrows are your primary weapon here.

Once the final Armos Knight is defeated, collect your rewards!

Congratulations!

You’ve successfully conquered the Eastern Palace. Collect your Heart Container and the Pendant of Courage!

This is a walkthrough to get to Dungeon 9 Death Mountain and how to get through it.

To reach Dungeon 9 in The Legend of Zelda for the NES, follow these steps:

Acquire the necessary items: Before heading to Dungeon 9, make sure you have obtained the following essential items: the wooden sword, the boomerang, the ladder, the raft, the power bracelet, the recorder, the bow, the silver arrows, and the magical rod. These items will help you navigate through the game and overcome various obstacles.

Acquire the whistle: To access Dungeon 9, also known as Death Mountain, you need the whistle. The whistle is obtained by rescuing the old man from the fifth dungeon, known as “The Lizard.” Once you defeat the dungeon’s boss, collect the Triforce piece and the old man will give you the whistle as a reward.

Find the entrance to Death Mountain: Death Mountain, the location of Dungeon 9, can be found on the overworld map. It is located in the northeast section of the map, towards the top-right corner. Look for a mountainous region with a cave entrance.

Use the whistle to reveal the hidden entrance: Stand near the cave entrance on Death Mountain and use the whistle. This will reveal the hidden entrance to Dungeon 9. The entrance will appear as a set of stairs leading underground.

Enter Dungeon 9: Once you’ve uncovered the entrance, simply walk over the revealed stairs and descend into Dungeon 9.

This is a walkthrough for the legend of Zelda NES the dungeon 8 the lion.

To reach the eighth dungeon, also known as “The Lion” dungeon, in the original Legend of Zelda game, follow these steps:

Start at the beginning of the game in the overworld.

Make your way to the eastern side of the map. To do this, you’ll need to navigate through various screens and defeat enemies along the way.

Look for the entrance to Level 8, which is located in the northeastern corner of the map. It is hidden underneath a tree, so you’ll need to burn the tree using the “Letter” item and then walk into the opening.

Once inside the entrance, you’ll find a staircase that leads down to the dungeon itself. Descend the stairs to enter Level 8, “The Lion” dungeon.

Remember to have the necessary equipment and items, such as a sword, shield, and bombs, to help you navigate through the dungeon and defeat the enemies you encounter along the way. Good luck on your adventure!

The walkthrough for the eighth dungeon in the original Legend of Zelda game, also known as “The Lion” dungeon. Please note that the dungeon layouts may vary slightly between different versions of the game, so there might be some differences depending on which version you’re playing. Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough:

As you enter the dungeon, head to the right and defeat the enemies in the room to obtain a key. Use the key to unlock the door on the right.

In the next room, defeat the enemies and push the blocks to open the path to the north. Proceed to the next room.

In this room, avoid the Like Likes (gel-like enemies) and defeat the enemies to obtain another key. Use the key to unlock the door to the north.

You’ll now be in a room with a staircase in the center. Ignore the staircase for now and continue to the left. Defeat the enemies and push the leftmost block to reveal a hidden passage. Proceed through the passage to the next room.

In this room, defeat the enemies and push the blocks to create a path to the stairs in the upper left corner. Go down the stairs to reach a basement level.

In the basement, defeat the enemies and collect the key in the room. Return to the previous room and go up the stairs to return to the main floor.

From the room with the staircase, go north and defeat the enemies. Push the blocks to create a path to the left. Proceed to the next room.

In this room, defeat the enemies and collect another key. Use the key to unlock the door to the north.

You’ll now be in a room with Bubbles (the flying skull enemies). Defeat them and push the blocks to reveal a hidden passage to the right. Go through the passage to the next room.

In this room, defeat the enemies and push the blocks to open the path to the left. Proceed to the next room.

You’ll now be in a room with Wizzrobes (the wizard enemies). Defeat them and proceed to the left. Push the leftmost block to reveal a staircase. Go down the stairs to reach another basement level.

In the basement, defeat the enemies and collect the key in the room. Return to the previous room and go up the stairs to return to the main floor.

From the room with the Wizzrobes, go south and defeat the enemies to open the path to the right. Proceed to the next room.

In this room, defeat the enemies and collect the key. Use the key to unlock the door to the right.

You’ll now be in a room with Dodongos (dinosaur-like enemies). Defeat them by placing bombs in front of them to open their mouths and attacking them. Once they are defeated, proceed to the right.

In the next room, defeat the enemies and push the blocks to reveal the staircase. Go down the stairs to reach the final basement level.

In the basement, defeat the enemies and collect the key in the room. Return to the previous room and go up the stairs to return to the main floor.

From the Dodongo room, go north and defeat the enemies. Push the blocks to reveal the boss room. Proceed to the boss room.

In the boss room, defeat the Aquamentus boss by attacking its horn with your sword. Once defeated, collect the heart container and proceed to the next room.

In the final room, collect the Triforce fragment and complete the dungeon.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the eighth dungeon in The Legend of Zelda.
