Why All the HATE Destiny Fans....
All I see is the community, blogs and other forms of media whacking at Destiny. Yes, we all know the story sucks, but doesn't most games nowadays lack stories. I haven't played a good game since Mass Effect. Destiny isn't for story gamers it's for those looking to have fun with others and to play countless Strikes - Raids - Weekly's and PVP. If you're not game with that, then you are not going to like Destiny.
I played a Strike last night on Vensus - Level 18 (I'm LVL 21 right now warlock) it was even hard for me. That's what makes video games fun, the epic failure of redoing a mission because the difficulty is too hard. No re-spawns if everyone dies in your party also adds fun to the game. I think destiny had a good idea with this game, but console players lack the interest of building REP and doing countless raids - stikes and PVP to get Legionary or exotic gear. I'm hooked to the game, because I'm a World of Warcraft player myself and understand the game.
I understand all single player peeps are not happy with the game, but Overall I'm happy to say I'm proud of Bungie for doing a great job. However, next time Bungie, please have a team that doesn't suck do the story. I thought it was good, when I met the Queen, but after that it was rushed and straight to the point. Maybe the Expansions (DLC's ) will be better, but you know you are losing sells for making a lame story.
Its also funny seeing the media take advantage of this. Searching Google for destiny is like a big let down. No, realism in anyone's latest destiny news. Destiny is not for the casual gamer, you need to put countless hours of blood and tears into the game.
